How to Get Started

Finding the right therapist is important, so I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if it feels like a good fit. You can ask me questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for how I work.

PLEASE NOTE: I currently have a waitlist. If you’d like to be added to my waitlist, please get in touch. Spots open up regularly, and based on your availability for sessions, we may be able to get started fairly soon.

If you’d like to book a free intro session first, feel free to email me or fill out the form below to get in touch:

Logistics & Policies

Sessions Are Virtual

I work exclusively online with clients across Ontario, BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Therapy from the comfort of your own space can be just as impactful as in-person sessions, with added flexibility and convenience.

SESSIONS & Payment

Please reach out for my current session fees.

All sessions are 50-minutes in length.

Payment is due at the time of the session via e-transfer or credit card. If you have extended health benefits, psychotherapy services with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) may be covered - check with your provider. I do not bill insurance directly but provide receipts for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

I require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less notice will be billed at the full session rate, unless I can fill the spot or unless we’re able to find another time within the week to reschedule.

  • I do introductory free 15 minute sessions, kind of like a meet-and-greet. It’s helpful for me to know what’s bringing you to therapy, your past experiences in therapy, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. You’ll hopefully get a sense of what it’s like to talk to me and I’ll get a better idea if we’d be a good fit.

  • Therapy can be helpful whether you’re navigating something specific (anxiety, relationships, big life changes) or just have a sense that something isn’t quite right. In our consultation, we can explore whether this approach feels like a good fit for you.

  • I have a limited number of sliding-scale spots available. If cost is a barrier, feel free to reach out to discuss options and your current situation.

  • Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions, but we can adjust based on what feels right for you.

  • Therapy is deeply personal, and finding the right approach (and therapist) makes all the difference. My work is relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed, which means we focus not just on what is happening but on how it’s showing up in your life, relationships, and nervous system.

  • There’s no set timeframe - some people come for short-term support (a few months), while others find ongoing therapy helpful for deeper work. The type of therapy I do usually means longer-term work, but it’s entirely up to you. I’ll check in regularly to ensure it continues to feel right for you.
